We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our friendly dental team. We are a PRIVATELY OWNED DENTAL OFFICE serving the downriver community for over 30 years! Our office is focused on providing excellent dental care for all our patients. 3-4 days per week!
Sign On Bonus!
1 hour adult prophylaxis, 45 minutes child prophylaxis
Duties
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
- Conduct dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures to remove plaque and tartar.
- Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans based on patient assessments.
Requirements
- Valid dental hygienist license in Michigan.
- Proficiency in using dental software (Dentrix preferred).
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and infection control practices.
