Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR - Circulate RN for a 13-week travel contract in Pontiac, MI, requiring 2+ years of OR experience and proficiency across multiple surgical specialties.

Details

• Day shift position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (0900-1730)
• 8-hour shifts with rotation of on-call, weekends, and holidays
• Weekend and holiday coverage is required
• On-call responsibilities are included in this role
• Specialty coverage includes Orthopedic, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro surgical cases
• Circulating role within the Operating Room

Requirements

• Active Michigan (MI) RN license required; LARA and Nursys verification will be required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Must be able to circulate independently
• Experience across Ortho, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro surgical specialties required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• A skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration

• Delivers nursing care through the nursing process, collaborating with the broader healthcare team to uphold professional nursing standards
• Trauma Level II facility
• Candidates who are or have been full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of their employment
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this contract
