Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Must be available to work every other weekend
• Must be available for at least one holiday
• May request up to 1 week of requested time off
• Overtime is billable after 48 hours
• Minimum of 2 years of recent CVICU experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Must be able to care for post-operative open heart patients
• Experience with Impella and IABP is required
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
• Current Michigan State Board of Nursing licensure required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Provide leadership in coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care
• Utilize nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and families
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information to healthcare team
• Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals
