Accounting Manager

Job Overview:
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial planning. This position plays a key role in driving the company's financial performance by leading the accounting department and collaborating with other teams to maintain financial integrity and provide insight into the company’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including AP/AR, general ledger, job cost accounting, bank reconciliations, and payroll coordination.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
• Track and analyze job costs, budgets, and project profitability in collaboration with department managers.
• Ensure accurate and timely billing and revenue recognition for ongoing construction projects.
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
• Assist with preparing quarterly and annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Manage cash flow reporting and recommend strategies for financial optimization.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting staff; assign tasks, monitor performance, and support development.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks as needed.
• Assist in special projects, ERP implementations, or system upgrades as needed.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
