Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist

Summary:
Seeking a reliable and experienced Medical Receptionist. The ideal candidate will have 4 or more years of experience in a front office position and will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
- Managing medical records
- Handling phone calls
- Obtaining prior authorizations
- Rooming patients
- Scheduling appointments
- Verifying insurance
Requirements:
- 4 or more years as Front Desk Receptionist in a medical setting
- Must be dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
- No time off will be allowed during the first 90 days; however, PTO will accrue after the 90-day probationary period.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to EMR system, Tebra.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Previous experience in neurology a PLUS!
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Customer-service oriented with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
