Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist

Summary:

Seeking a reliable and experienced Medical Receptionist. The ideal candidate will have 4 or more years of experience in a front office position and will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

• Managing medical records
• Handling phone calls
• Obtaining prior authorizations
• Rooming patients
• Scheduling appointments
• Verifying insurance

Requirements:

• 4 or more years as Front Desk Receptionist in a medical setting
• Must be dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
• No time off will be allowed during the first 90 days; however, PTO will accrue after the 90-day probationary period.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to EMR system, Tebra.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Previous experience in neurology a PLUS!
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Customer-service oriented with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
