Position Title: Retrofit Technician

Pay Rate: $23 – $24 per hour

Shift: Monday – Friday - 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Location : Auburn Hills, MI

Summary of Work

Working on new vehicles that engineers have tested. The work involves diagnosing the vehicle to determine what replacement parts or repairs may be needed and then performing that work. Some vehicles may only require software updates, while others may require more intensive repairs such as replacing a wire harness or transmission. The type of work will vary depending on the vehicle.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of hands-on automotive technician experience, preferably in a dealership, prototype, or fleet environment
• Must have own tools and toolbox.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Skills

• Technicians with dealership experience
• Experience performing retrofits, reworks, or vehicle modifications (mechanical and electrical)
• Certifications (ASE) or OEM-specific training a plus
