Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, passionate, and experienced Salon Coordinator/Manager to lead the daily operations of Kd Chanel Beauty Salon. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with exceptional communication and customer service skills, and a flair for creating a high-end, welcoming atmosphere. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless salon operations, inspiring and managing staff, and exceeding client expectations.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of day-to-day salon operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
* Manage appointment scheduling using our salon software, optimizing stylist schedules and client bookings.
* Lead, mentor, and train salon staff, including stylists, assistants, and receptionists, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
* Handle client inquiries, concerns, and complaints with grace, professionalism, and a focus on resolution and client satisfaction.
* Manage inventory of salon supplies, retail products, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
* Implement and enforce salon policies and procedures, maintaining a consistent and high standard of service.
* Collaborate with the owner on marketing and promotional activities, contributing creative ideas to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
* Maintain the salon's pristine appearance, ensuring a clean, organized, and luxurious environment for clients and staff.
* Process payments, manage cash flow, and reconcile daily sales transactions accurately.
* Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights to improve salon performance and profitability.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a salon or spa management role, preferably in a high-end environment.
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients and staff.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
* Proficiency in salon software (e.g., Salon Iris, Millennium) and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
* Demonstrated leadership and team-management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals.
* Knowledge of current beauty trends, products, and services.
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in business management or cosmetology is a plus.
