The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement industrial automation solutions, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Program and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for manufacturing processes.
• Integrate and program robotic systems, machine vision, and other advanced automation technologies.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with existing automation equipment and control systems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and software specifications.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and improve process efficiency.
• Implement data acquisition and reporting systems to monitor process performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Allen-Bradley) and SCADA/HMI development.
• Experience with industrial robotics integration and programming (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP) and data acquisition.
• Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot machine vision systems for quality control and guidance.
• Solid knowledge of industrial sensors, actuators, and motion control systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) or collaborative robotics.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or SQL for manufacturing data analysis.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration.
• Exposure to Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platforms or cloud-based automation solutions.
