Location: Livonia, MI Shift: 1st Shift Pay: $17.00/hr

Job Summary

Are you an experienced Assembly Technician looking for a stable, full-time opportunity? We’re seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in Livonia, MI. In this role, you’ll help build custom racks, workstations, carts, and other products using hand tools, engineered drawings, and bill of materials in a manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Assembly Technician , your core responsibilities will include:

• Product Assembly: Assemble racks, carts, workstations, and related products using hand tools, saws, and detailed assembly instructions.
• Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation: Work from engineered drawings, hand drawings, and bill of materials to ensure products are assembled accurately to specifications.
• Quality & Production Support: Inspect completed assemblies for quality, maintain an organized work area, and support production needs to help meet daily goals.

In addition, you will use tape measures to verify dimensions, safely operate hand tools and saws, follow work instructions, maintain cleanliness in the work area, and assist with other assembly-related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:

• Previous assembly experience required.
• Experience working with hand tools required.
• Ability to read and understand a tape measure.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints and engineered drawings.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.

Skills:

• Assembly & Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to safely and accurately assemble products using hand tools and equipment.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure products are assembled accurately and meet quality expectations.
• Teamwork & Reliability: Work effectively with the team to meet production deadlines.
