Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide a team of manufacturing associates to ensure efficient production flow.
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize output.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing team members.
• Assign tasks, manage schedules, and track individual and team performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain operational readiness and cleanliness.
• Communicate production status, challenges, and achievements to management.
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with other departments to resolve them.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
• Ability to effectively train, mentor, and motivate production staff.
• Proficiency in production scheduling, workflow management, and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• - Certification in relevant areas such as Six Sigma or safety protocols.
• - Proficiency in a specific ERP or manufacturing execution system (MES).
• - Bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) to communicate with a diverse workforce.
