Front of House Manager

As the Front of House & Bar Manager , you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day FOH operations, delivering excellent guest experiences, and overseeing bar service. Your responsibilities will include:

Leadership & Guest Service

• Lead FOH staff and bar team with a focus on guest satisfaction, hospitality, salesmanship, and efficiency.
• Hire, train, coach, and mentor servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and professional culture on the floor.

Bar Operations

• Manage daily bar operations including product ordering, inventory, and portion control.
• Develop seasonal cocktail menus, local beer & wine programs in collaboration with leadership.
• Ensure compliance with all liquor laws and safety regulations.

FOH Operations

• Oversee daily floor service and scheduling to maximize labor efficiency while maintaining service standards.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve service issues promptly.
• Monitor cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the dining and bar areas.

Financial & Administrative

• Assist in monitoring labor costs, bar costs, and daily sales reports.
• Work closely with the General Manager and Director of Operations on budgeting and P&L reviews.
• Contribute to recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding FOH/bar staff.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant/bar.
• Strong bar knowledge (beer, wine, cocktails, product cost control).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to commute to Toledo Ohio for 6 weeks of training
• Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• ServSafe Food and Alcohol Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
