Surgical Specialists Group of Michigan is seeking a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join a rapidly expanding, physician-led network in Garden City, Michigan .

This is an opportunity to be part of a high-efficiency clinical model focused on access, care coordination, and direct integration with surgical and specialty services.

Position Overview

You will serve as a frontline physician managing:

• Post-ER discharge follow-ups
• Same-week new patient access
• Chronic disease management
• Pre-operative optimization and coordination

You will be supported by a robust centralized intake and scheduling team , allowing you to focus on clinical care rather than administrative burden.

This model is designed to enhance access to care in the Prime Healthcare System and ensure timely access to care.

Schedule & Workflow

• Monday–Friday schedule
• Take every weekend off!
• Emphasis on same-day / next-day access
• Dedicated slots for:
• ER follow-ups
• New patients
• Transitional care visits

Compensation & Structure

• Competitive base salary (W2 or 1099 structure available)
• Productivity incentives

Ideal Candidate

• Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Licensed (or eligible) in Michigan
• Comfortable with a fast-paced, access-driven environment
• Strong clinical judgment and efficiency
• Team-oriented with a focus on coordinated care
