Salary Range: $77,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventative actions.
• Identify and assess EHS risks and hazards, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Provide EHS training and awareness programs to all employees, fostering a strong safety culture.
• Manage EHS audits, inspections, and permit requirements, ensuring timely closure of findings.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on EHS performance metrics and trends to drive continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, including leadership responsibilities.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) is highly preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies applied to EHS processes.
• Experience implementing and maintaining EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Proficiency with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Gensuite, Intelex, Sphera).
• Experience managing EHS in a unionized manufacturing environment.
