Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy.
• Manage the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Direct cost accounting activities, including standard cost development, variance analysis, and COGS reporting.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies to safeguard assets.
• Analyze production costs, inventory valuations, and operational metrics to drive efficiency.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including financial statement preparation.
• Manage cash flow and working capital, optimizing liquidity and operational funding.
• Serve as the primary liaison for external audits and tax compliance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and standard costing methodologies.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies applied to financial processes.
• Demonstrated proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for advanced financial analysis.
• Prior involvement in ERP system implementations or significant upgrades within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with international manufacturing operations and multi-currency reporting.
