Sales Consultant
We are looking for a talented, out going sales consultant to join our team of professionals! The ideal candidate is great with people, a team player and willing to adapt and learn to new, current ways of selling vehicles. You will collaborate with the sales team and managers to achieve business goals and achieve customer satisfaction. Starting pay is based on experience! Responsibilities:
- Maintains a professional business appearance.
- Maintains a Positive Attitude!
- Approaches, greets and offers assistance or direction to all customers who enter the showroom or dealership lot.
- Maintains appearance of New and Used Vehicle lot. Makes sure holes on lot are filled, snow removal in winter, etc.
- Helps with new vehicle check in off the hauler.
- Stays up to date and certified on all courses and qualifications specified by Ford Motor Company and assigned by Dean Arbour Ford.
- Stays current and understands the Federal, State and local laws which govern retail auto sales.
- Keeps up to date on all changes in product, product technology, features, accessories and incoming inventory.
- Able to communicate well, and follow up with customers.
- Other tasks assigned
- Automotive sales background preferred, but not required
- Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with computer programs and technology
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
- Strong written and communication skills
- Valid driver's license required and clean driving record
