Administrative Assistant
Job Title: Administrative Assistant – Product Development Support
Location: Wyoming, MI
1st Shift - $20-23/hr
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our operations and product development team. This role combines traditional administrative responsibilities with hands-on support for product samples and development activities.
The ideal candidate enjoys a variety of tasks, is highly organized, and is comfortable assisting both with office duties and light hands-on work related to product samples and testing.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Data Entry
- Enter, update, and maintain data in company systems and spreadsheets
- Organize, file, and maintain internal documents and records
- Assist with scheduling, coordinating meetings, and general office operations
- Prepare customer paperwork, reports, and documentation as needed
Sample Preparation & Customer Support
- Prepare, label, and package product samples for customer requests
- Maintain inventory of sample materials
- Ensure the sample preparation area is organized and stocked
- Coordinate shipping and logistics of product samples to customers
Product Development Support
- Assist the product development team with basic tasks such as measuring, mixing, or assembling materials (training provided)
- Help track product testing samples and results
- Maintain organized product development documentation, specifications, and project files
Qualifications
- Previous administrative or office support experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable assisting with light hands-on tasks related to product samples
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
