Job Summary:
  • Client is seeking a proactive and detailoriented Network Real Estate Specialist to support site leasing, regulatory compliance, and real estate operations for client's wireless infrastructure projects across the Michigan market.
  • This role is instrumental in facilitating timely network buildouts and upgrades by ensuring site compliance, managing lease lifecycles, and coordinating across internal teams and external vendors.
  • The ideal candidate will have handson experience in telecom leasing, zoning/permitting, and CBAN workflows, and will serve as a key liaison between network engineering, legal, regulatory, and site development stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the endto-end leasing process for new wireless sites, including negotiations, amendments, and renewals with landlords, municipalities, and tower companies.
  • Support regulatory and municipal compliance, including zoning approvals, building permits, environmental reviews, FAA/FCC filings, and public notices.
  • Utilize CBAN (Centralized Build Approval Notification) tools and processes to coordinate build readiness, site compliance, and interdepartmental approvals.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to review lease terms and ensure document accuracy and alignment with internal policies.
  • Track and maintain accurate real estate records, milestone reports, and site status using internal databases (e.g., Siterra, SiteTracker, FUZE).
  • Coordinate with external A&E firms, zoning consultants, and real estate brokers to streamline deliverables and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Ensure all sites meet internal and external compliance guidelines before handoff to construction and integration teams.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3 to 6 plus years of experience in telecom real estate, leasing, or site acquisition.
  • Strong working knowledge of real estate contracts, municipal permitting, and zoning codes.
  • Familiarity with CBAN workflows and network build approval systems.
  • Ability to interpret and review legal documents, leases, title reports, and site drawings.
  • Excellent organization, project tracking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication for interfacing with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and real estate tracking tools such as Siterra, SiteTracker, NetSites, or FUZE.
  • Willingness to travel to field sites across the Michigan region as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with wireless carriers or tower companies (e.g., Client, AT&T, Crown Castle).
  • Understanding of FCC, NEPA, SHPO, or FAA regulatory filing processes.
  • Working knowledge of telecom buildout timelines, collocation processes, and landlord negotiations.
  • Notary license or paralegal certification is a plus.
Note:

Pay Range: $40 - $45/hr on W2
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
