responsibilities:

• Track and control costs for one or more employer projects under management oversight.

• Review and track project invoices and contractor Time & Materials (T&M) tickets.

• Administer project change control documentation and maintain audit trails.

• Perform data entry for various project reporting and financial monitoring activities.

• Support the primary project cost controller in daily administrative and financial tasks.

• Maintain high levels of organization and attention to detail in all financial records.

• Apply basic understanding of construction projects, contracting, and accounting principles.

• Prioritize tasks effectively and complete work within strict, punctual deadlines.

• Communicate project financial status clearly through both written and verbal channels.

• Demonstrate proficiency in basic computing and project management software.

Skills:

• Maintain a high level of organization to manage multiple project streams and documentation.

• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail when reviewing financial data and invoices.

• Showcase proficiency in basic computing and digital office tools.

• Apply an above-average understanding of Excel for data management and spreadsheet analysis.

• Utilize a foundational knowledge of construction project lifecycles and workflows.

Education:

• Possess a higher education degree or equivalent relatable work experience.

• Hold a degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering (preferred).

• Provide a degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance as an acceptable alternative.

• Certifications from PMI or AACE.
