Salary Range: $45,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Conduct various tests using specialized equipment and document results accurately.
• Maintain and calibrate quality inspection tools and measurement equipment.
• Identify, segregate, and document non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective action processes.
• Assist in the investigation of quality issues, supporting root cause analysis and resolution efforts.
• Generate and maintain quality control records, reports, and data for analysis.
• Ensure strict adherence to established quality procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA).
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking for identifying non-conformances.
• Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data collection.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt certification.
• Familiarity with CMM programming or calibration of measurement equipment.
• Experience utilizing ERP or MES systems for quality data management.
