Position Summary
Yeo & Yeo Technology is seeking a full-time Software Consultant.The Software Consultant will be responsible for developing software solutions for desktop and mobile applications, supporting clients on business software, and creating solutions using automation and AI technologies.
Key Objectives
- Able to learn new programming languages and develop solutions for business purposes
- Understand relational databases and work with both large and small datasets
- Work with clients to understand their business challenges and help to provide recommendations
- Work with a team to build creative solutions to business challenges
- Build strong relationships with clients and team members
- Handle multiple projects with different due dates and completing them within scope
- Able to work independently on a development team, and on a cross-departmental team
- Document client and internal work in a time & billing system in tenths of an hour
- Follow established development standards when building software applications
- Follow established documentation standards when building software applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in a computer related field with an emphasis on application development
- Able to commute to our Saginaw office ā this position would be in-person
- Occasional overtime and possible weekend work when needed
Preferred Abilities
- Professional or academic experience in software application development
- Experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio, VB.Net, and C#
- Experience with mobile application development
- Experience with automation and AI technologies
- Experience with business software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.
