Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee - Canvassing Manager. This entry-level position is designed for individuals looking to develop their skills in canvassing, marketing, and customer service. The Trainee will gain hands-on experience in supervising a team, engaging with the community, and driving fundraising efforts through effective canvassing strategies.

Duties

• Assist in managing and supervising a team of canvassers to ensure effective outreach and engagement.
• Conduct door-to-door canvassing to promote our initiatives and gather support from the community.
• Develop marketing strategies to enhance visibility and effectiveness of canvassing efforts.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and fostering positive relationships with potential supporters.
• Utilize strong communication skills to convey messages clearly and persuasively during interactions.
• Engage in telemarketing efforts as needed to supplement door-to-door activities.
• Participate in fundraising campaigns by promoting events and encouraging donations.
• Train new team members on canvassing techniques, sales tactics, and best practices for effective communication.

Requirements

• Previous supervising experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong background in marketing or sales is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building rapport with diverse individuals.
• Experience in door-to-door canvassing or similar outreach roles is a plus.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role.
• Strong negotiation abilities to effectively engage potential supporters and secure commitments.
