Job Summary
CenterPoint Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated teacher to join our team of educators. We are looking for someone who can provide high-quality instruction, build meaningful relationships with students, and help guide them in both academic growth and personal development. The ideal candidate is committed to creating a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn.
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging and comprehensive lessons using the Abeka curriculum
- Promote interactive learning
- Assess, record, and communicate student progress through grades and feedback
- Maintain an orderly, welcoming, and productive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents; participate in meetings and school events
- Support the mission and values of the school in daily practice
Requirements
- Statement of Faith (required)
- Teacher certification (preferred)
- Ability to pass a background and criminal history check
- Degree in education or a related subject area
- Willingness to follow school policies and procedures
