Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes, equipment, and product design for manufacturability.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and R&D departments to optimize operational efficiency and product quality.
• Manage the engineering department's budget, resources, and capital expenditure requests.
• Implement and maintain engineering best practices, standards, and safety protocols within the manufacturing environment.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for technology adoption and facility upgrades to enhance production capabilities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Deep expertise in manufacturing processes, automation, and lean methodologies.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong project and portfolio management skills within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in strategic technical planning and aligning engineering initiatives with business goals.
• Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Familiarity with ERP or PLM system implementation and optimization.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI in manufacturing, advanced automation).
• MBA or Master's degree in a related business or management field.
