Job Description

Join our team as a Production Operator in our facility. You will work at the end of the machine line, conducting final inspections to identify any defects such as flashes, scratches, dents, or chips, and perform spot checks using micrometers and calipers. Once inspected, you will prepare parts for delivery, ensuring efficient and accurate loading.

Responsibilities

• Inspect each part as it comes down the production line for any defects.
• Perform spot checks with micrometers and calipers to verify product specifications.
• Load inspected parts for delivery once they have passed quality checks.
• Maintain a production rate of inspecting and loading 25-30 parts per hour.
• Collaborate with hilo drivers to ensure timely transport of completed boxes.
• Be flexible with shift assignments, potentially working on both 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Production/Machine Operator.
• Strong job tenure with no previous terminations.
• Ability to adhere to strict attendance policies.
• 1+ year of experience in the automotive industry or foundry environment.
• 1+ year of experience working on off shifts (2nd or 3rd)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jackson, MI.

The pay range for this position is $23.13 - $23.13/hr.
