Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing a variety of residential electrical installations and working closely with installation teams and apprentices. 

Your Day-to-Day:

• Installing and maintaining electrical systems in residential homes. 
• Using power tools and equipment to handle replacements, upgrades, and re-wires. 
• Installing light fixtures, ceiling fans, generators, re-devices, replacing panels, AC circuits and home re-wires. 
• Testing electrical systems to ensure proper functioning. 
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues and developing effective solutions. 
• Leading installations from start to finish following the plan established for the job and adjusting when necessary. 
• Collaborating with the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. 
• Working alongside an electrical apprentice to assist with the daily jobs. 
• Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships with clients. 
• Offering customers maintenance tips and advice for caring for their systems. 
• Keeping up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies. 

What Does It Take? 

• Valid Journeyman or Master Electrical license in the state of Michigan 
• 4+ years of progressive electrical experience 
• Supervisory or lead experience preferred 
• MRC and NEC knowledge is required
• Valid Driver's License required 
• Clear background check, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and drug screen 
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and educating customers on all options 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Commitment to safety in all aspects of work 
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment 

Qualified new hires are eligible for the following sign-on bonuses:

• $5,000 Sign-On Bonus  for Licensed  Journeyman  Technicians

• $10,000 Sign-On Bonus  for Licensed  Master  Technicians

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must hold an active Journeyman or Master license in the state of Michigan.
• Bonus payout schedule will be provided upon hire.
• Candidates must meet all employment, performance, and onboarding requirements to remain eligible.
