Salary Range: $65,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all finishing department operations, including assembly, inspection, packaging, and final product preparation.
• Manage, train, and schedule finishing line personnel, ensuring optimal team performance and productivity.
• Ensure all finished products meet specified quality standards through rigorous inspection and adherence to quality control procedures.
• Monitor production schedules and output, striving to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets efficiently.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and equipment malfunctions on the finishing line to minimize downtime.
• Implement and enforce all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless flow of materials and finished goods.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing finishing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of various finishing processes (e.g., painting, coating, polishing, assembly) and associated equipment.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a production team to meet output and quality targets.
• Demonstrated experience with quality control, inspection, and defect resolution for finished products.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for advanced data analysis and reporting.
• Experience implementing new finishing technologies or automation solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of specialized coatings, surface treatments, or material science relevant to manufacturing finishing processes.
