Tax Preparer
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Tax Preparer in Canton, MA. Duties Include:
- Prepare individual and/or business tax returns in accordance with federal, state, and local tax laws
- Review financial documents and verify accuracy of information provided by clients
- Identify potential deductions, credits, and tax-saving opportunities
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to compliance standards
- Respond to client inquiries and provide clear explanations of tax-related matters
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Knowledge of tax preparation processes and relevant regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with tax preparation software and basic computer skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
