Legal Assistant (Bankruptcy Law)

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the first point of contact for clients—providing a professional, responsive, and supportive experience
• Prepare, format, and manage legal documents and correspondence
• Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings
• Monitor and track court deadlines and filings
• Assist with electronic case filings (ECF) and document management
• Communicate effectively with attorneys and team members to keep cases moving forward
• Support general administrative operations of the firm

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior law office experience preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Adobe and federal electronic case filing (ECF) strongly preferred
• Strong computer and administrative skills
