Join a professional waterfront team where your attention to detail makes a real impact. At Great Lakes Sailing Company, we take pride in delivering spotless, charter-ready sailboats and a marina guests remember.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be a key part of our turnaround crew, ensuring every boat looks and feels exceptional:

• Boat Cleaning & Turnover
• Deep clean cabins, kitchens (galleys), bathrooms (heads), and decks
• Disinfect high-touch areas
• Wash and organize galley equipment
• Vacuum and detail every boat — no shortcuts
• Inspect lockers, hatches, and storage spaces
• Handle and launder linens

Dock & Marina Support

• Assist with dock lines during arrivals and departures
• Keep docks clean, safe, and organized
• Properly coil hoses and shore power cords
• Maintain common areas and perform closing walkthroughs
• Team & Guest Interaction
• Provide friendly, professional service to charter guests
• Follow safety procedures and maintain organized workspaces

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail (this is key)
• Reliable, punctual, and organized
• Comfortable working on boats and around water
• Physically able to lift, bend, and move in tight spaces
• Positive attitude and professional mindset
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Closed-toe, non-marking shoes required
• No marine experience? No problem — we train the right people.

Work Environment

• On sailboats, docks, and marina facilities
• Outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Active, hands-on, and fast-paced
