Dental hygienist

Perform oral evaluations and dental exams

Take dental radiographs (X-rays)

Remove plaque and calculus from teeth through scaling

Polish teeth to enhance smoothness and appearance

Apply sealants and fluoride treatments to protect teeth

Irrigate periodontal pockets and treatment sites

Provide oral hygiene instructions and patient education

Perform periodontal charting to assess gum health

Document patient charts accurately and thoroughly

Administer local anesthesia as needed (if certified)

Clean and set up operatories for patient care

Clean and sterilize dental instruments following infection control protocols

part-time $45 - $55 per hour

Monday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Thursday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Driver’s license
• Licensed dental hygienist
• X-ray / Radiography Certification

Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of Michigan

Strong communication and patient care skills

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Open to new graduates with a passion for learning or hygienists with prior experience
