Lead Inspectors will perform quality checks on raw materials and finished goods, audit production processes, and assist with training and oversight of inspection staff as needed.

Lead Inspector Details:

• Contract to Hire position
• $20.00 to $22.00 /hour
• Weekend work required
• Various shifts available (Sunday through Sunday from 12:00am to 12:00pm)

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of raw materials and finished products according to specifications and work instructions
• Use gauges, scales, and other precision measurement tools accurately
• Identify, tag, and segregate non-conforming materials or products
• Complete inspection documentation and accurately record results in databases or forms
• Conduct audits of production practices and report non-conformances
• Support final inspection and reconciliation of outgoing shipments
• Assist in identifying root causes of quality issues and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Provide leadership and guidance to inspection personnel when required
• Maintain a professional, reliable presence at all assigned locations and shifts

Lead Inspector Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to read and interpret inspection instructions
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between sites and shifts
• Excellent attendance and dependability
• Prior experience in a quality inspection or quality assurance role
• Proficiency using measurement tools (tape measures, calipers, gauges, etc.)
• Working knowledge of inspection processes and non-conformance reporting
