We are seeking a driven and service-oriented Hospitality Valet Manager to support daily operations at a hotel-based valet location. This role is ideal for someone with a hospitality mindset who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys developing teams, and has a strong focus on operations, financial accountability, and customer service.

Location: Detroit, MI 48216
Schedule: Full-time, includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Pay Rate: $70,000 – $80,000 base

Duties:

  • Oversee day-to-day valet operations for hotel property, ensuring service, safety, and performance expectations are met

  • Manage, train, and develop on-site team members, including Assistant Managers, Shift Leads, and front-line staff

  • Monitor and respond to guest service metrics and team performance data

  • Lead team meetings, enforce safety protocols, and maintain compliance with company policies

  • Handle scheduling, payroll approvals, and timecard compliance in coordination with internal HR/payroll teams

  • Conduct audits and ensure operational procedures are followed consistently

  • Address and investigate any safety issues, claims, or incident reports promptly

  • Build and maintain a strong working relationship with hotel leadership and property contacts

  • Analyze market trends and adjust service delivery and staffing levels as needed

  • Assist in budget planning and monitor location-specific revenue and expense targets

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of management experience, preferably in hospitality, service, or valet environments

  • Strong Excel and MS Office skills (formulas, reporting, payroll tracking)

  • Experience working in a customer-facing role with high service expectations

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and physically assist with vehicle movement if needed
