This is how you will grow:

Lead the specification, design, procurement, and installation of material handling equipment for automotive programs. Technical knowledge, industry connections, and the ability to manage facilities and equipment procurement projects from concept through implementation.

  • Define specifications for material display, storage, and transport equipment based on project requirements.
  • Create 2D/3D conceptual equipment designs in AutoCAD or similar tools.
  • Stay current on material handling equipment technologies and suppliers.
  • Manage equipment scope across low-cost automation and fully automated solutions.
  • Support bid management, supplier selection, and purchasing processes.
  • Oversee fabricators, transportation, installation, and debugging activities.
  • Collaborate directly with customer managers to ensure successful execution.
Requirements:

This is how you will take us forward:

  • Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineer, or related field.
  • 5+ years of material handling facilities and equipment engineering experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Expertise in material handling equipment design and implementation.
  • Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in supplier management, bid processes, and installation oversight.
