We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team! You will conduct quantitative analyses of various investment and financial programs.

Senior Financial Analyst
Full Time/Permanent
Grand Blanc, MI
Salary Range: $80,000/year - $90,000/year (dependent on education and years of experience)

***HYBRID OPTIONS AVAILABLE- Preferring a LOCAL candidate to occasionally come in-office once a week.***

Responsibilities:

• Conduct cost analysis on financial programs and operations
• Determine financial status and analyze forecast results
• Perform month-end client valuation for assigned funds
• Research and assess offshore and domestic fund options
• Resolve accounting errors on a timely basis with documentation
• Prepare profit and loss models

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, healthcare administration or related area. - Required
• Five years of prior experience in healthcare finance or healthcare financial analysis to include experience working with hospital clinical/claim and financial data, working with large databases, cost experience; data extraction and analysis and the ability to extract data and analyze using a variety of tools including Access and Excel. - Required
• OR Ten years of prior experience in healthcare finance or healthcare financial analysis to include experience working with hospital clinical/claim and financial data, working with large databases; data extraction and analysis and the ability to extract data and analyze using a variety of tools including SQL, Access, Excel (IF YOUR CANDIDATE DOES NOT MEET THE EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT). - Required
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration - Preferred
• One year of experience with healthcare contract management/reimbursement systems and knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies. - Preferred
• Tableau experience. - Strongly Preferred
• SQL experience. - Strongly Preferred
• Cost accounting experience. - Strongly Preferred
• ***HM looking for Proforma and Cost Accounting experience specifically.***
