Salary Range: $51,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily fabrication operations and workflow.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of fabricators and welders.
• Ensure all fabricated components meet quality specifications and standards.
• Manage material inventory, ordering, and allocation for production needs.
• Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and best practices within the fabrication area.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot fabrication equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for fabrication processes and efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in various fabrication processes (welding, cutting, forming, machining).
• Proven leadership and team management skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, schematics, and CAD models.
• Strong understanding and strict adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues and optimize production workflows.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
• Advanced welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1) or specialized material fabrication expertise
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for production scheduling and inventory management
