Salary Range: $58,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct finishing department personnel, including scheduling and performance management.
• Ensure all finished products meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Plan and coordinate daily finishing operations to achieve production targets and deadlines.
• Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of finishing equipment and machinery.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and best practices within the finishing area.
• Provide training and development for finishing technicians on processes and quality control.
• Monitor and manage inventory of finishing materials and supplies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing finishing department.
• In-depth knowledge of various finishing processes, equipment, and materials (e.g., painting, coating, assembly, final inspection).
• Proven ability to manage production schedules, achieve quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical specifications, blueprints, and quality control procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with ERP or MES systems for production planning and data analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members on new processes or equipment.
• Specific certifications in advanced finishing techniques (e.g., powder coating, electroplating, precision polishing).
