Garage Door Service & Installation Technician (Direct Hire)About the Opportunity

WorkSolved Staffing is seeking a Garage Door Service & Installation Technician for a direct hire opportunity with a reputable, long-standing company known for its commitment to craftsmanship, reliability, and exceptional customer service. Since 1955, this organization has provided high-quality garage door installation and maintenance for both residential and commercial clients throughout West Michigan.

• Install, service, and repair residential and commercial garage doors and openers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Deliver outstanding customer service through professional, courteous interactions.
• Accurately document work performed and communicate with customers about findings and recommendations.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies while operating tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in garage door installation, servicing, or mechanical trades (carpentry, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Capable of lifting 75+ lbs and working at heights or on ladders.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Pay: $20-f$25 per hour (based on experience)

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts
