**Job Description Summary** The Lead Quality Assurance Specialist will be managing, ensuring and improving capabilities to comply with external standards and regulations. In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area. **Job Description** **Roles and Responsibilities** + Ensuring compliance to regulations required at point of production. + Perform audits to ensure compliance with GE Aerospace policies and procedures. + Evaluate adherence to AS9100/AS9110/AS9120 standards and regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, CAAC, UK CAA). + Identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions. + Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality systems and processes. + Prepare detailed audit reports and maintain accurate records of findings and corrective actions. + Ensure timely communication of audit results to relevant stakeholders. + Provide guidance and training to team members on quality standards and auditing practices. + Support the development of robust quality processes across the organization. **Required Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree accredited college or university and a minimum of 3 years of Quality/Manufacturing experience + OR a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality/Manufacturing experience. + For current GE Aerospace employees, a QEP Level 2 certification is required. + Must be able to travel up to 50%. **Desired Experience & Characteristics** + Strong knowledge of **AS9100/AS9110/AS9120 standards** and regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, CAAC, UK CAA). + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. + Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams. + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. **Pay and Benefits:** + The salary range for this position is $81,900.00 - 109,200.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
