Accounting Clerk

Description
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for financial record keeping. You will use specialized ledgers and accounting software to record and process expenditures, receipts, and other financial transactions.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
- Daily enter key data of financial transactions (Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable)
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective written and oral communications
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Competency in MS Office, Excel, Databases and Accounting Software
- Accounting Experience, Familiarity with Bookkeeping, and Basic Accounting Procedures
- Accounting Certification, Associates or Bachelors Degree, or equivalent work experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
