Bookkeeper - Cannabis

DACUT is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate, organized financial records. This role plays a critical part in supporting accounting operations by ensuring timely processing of payables and receivables, accurate reconciliations, and clean financial data across our corporate and cannabis operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
• Process and track Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoice entry, payments, and collections
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts on a regular basis
• Maintain and update the general ledger with proper documentation and coding
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate recordkeeping
• Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing reports and reconciliations
• Maintain organized financial documentation for internal use and audits
• Ensure compliance with company policies and assist with regulatory requirements
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in bookkeeping workflows

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or related experience
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and accounting software
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

• Experience in the cannabis industry
• Familiarity with multi-entity or multi-site operations
• Experience supporting audits or working in regulated environments
• Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms
