**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including the business premises and surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behaviors within the retail or mall setting.
+ Assist visitors, tenants, and/or employees with directions, information, and general support as needed while on patrol.
+ Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as required for incident response and reporting.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
