Inection Mold Tech Details:

• Temporary position
• $18.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm )

As a Compression Mold Press Operator, you are responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of compression mold press machines used in shaping, forming, and molding of carbon fiber composite parts.

Duties/Essential Job Functions:

• Operate molding press machines to manufacture carbon products
• Loading preforms in a tool, operating the press, demolding the part, cleaning the press and repeating the process
• Install and change over molds, dies, and other tooling
• Polishing: Progressive abrasive sanding and polishing to part standard for appropriate surface finish.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges

Inection Mold Tech Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency Diploma (GED)
• Experience with mold maintenance or tool benching is a strong asset
• Ability to use hand tools and perform mechanical tasks
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to read technical documents, blueprints.
