Key Responsibilities

• Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on metal components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery.
• Prepare metal surfaces by grinding, cutting, and cleaning prior to welding.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and parts according to design.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in common welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and schematics
• Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and procedures
• Proven experience welding in a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to inspect finished welds for quality and identify defects
• Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1) preferred

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced or multiple AWS welding certifications
• Experience welding specialized alloys (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum) or exotic metals
• Proficiency in metal fabrication (cutting, fitting, grinding, blueprint reading)
• Experience with robotic welding systems or automated welding processes
