As a Senior HR Business Partner at Mercantile Bank, you will engage in a variety of impactful daily activities. You will collaborate closely with department leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives, ensuring a deep understanding of departmental needs. Expect to conduct regular employee consultations, providing guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, and career development. To thrive as a Senior HR Business Partner at Mercantile Bank, you will have 8-10 years' experience in HR or HR related work (preferably within a financial institution) along with a robust set of skills. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial, enabling you to build effective relationships with employees and leadership alike. Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, are necessary for articulating HR initiatives and engaging with diverse teams. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills will equip you to dissect HR metrics and develop strategies that drive organizational excellence. A deep understanding of employment law and HR best practices will ensure compliance and promote fair practices across the organization.

Education:

A bachelor's degree or equivalent job-related education
