Brake Press Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $20.00 to $21.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 04:00pm )

• Operate Brake Press machinery and assist in other machine operations as needed.
• Set up tooling, load programs, and adjust machine parameters for optimal performance.
• Select correct die clearances based on material type.
• Verify part dimensions and obtain 1st piece approval before running production. Inspect parts throughout production to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot deviations, make machine adjustments, and identify causes of rejected parts.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
• Follow all company safety rules. Safety glasses required at all times.

Brake Press Operator Qualifications:

• 2+ years of proven Brake Press operation experience.
• Brake Press setup experience (Required).
• Ability to read micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and blueprints.
• Strong math skills, including fraction/decimal conversions.
• Ability to identify material types (steel, stainless, aluminum).
• Familiarity with Amada press brakes (Preferred, not required).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work overtime when scheduled
