Summary
The District Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction within an assigned territory. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and providing technical sales support for Inductoheat’s advanced induction heat treating equipment. The District Sales Manager works closely with customers, engineering teams, and company leadership to deliver tailored solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency, part quality, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve or exceed territory revenue targets.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings, technical presentations, and product demonstrations for customers.
- Collaborate with engineering and applications teams to review customer requirements, blueprints, and specifications to generate accurate proposals and quotations.
- Prepare and deliver proposals that clearly outline technical solutions, cost estimates, and value to the customer.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Inductoheat’s product portfolio, applications, and competitive advantages.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to anticipate customer needs.
- Forecast sales opportunities, track pipeline activity in CRM, and provide regular updates to management.
- Represent Inductoheat at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and customer service, reinforcing Inductoheat’s reputation as a trusted partner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of technical sales experience, preferably in capital equipment, industrial machinery, or manufacturing solutions.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand mechanical, electrical, or metallurgical processes.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), Microsoft Office, and virtual meeting platforms.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory, including internationally.
- Valid passport required for travel to Canada and Mexico.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
