CLM Business Process Architect
- Identifying and documenting functional, technical, security, integration, and workflow requirements for a CLM system.
- Developing a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) for CLM solution procurement.
- Supporting the client throughout the RFP process, including vendor identification, evaluation support as subject matter expert, and recommendation of a preferred solution.
- Assisting in high-level scoping for subsequent project phases including configuration, data migration, testing, training, deployment, and post-implementation support planning.
- Demonstrated experience leading CLM solution evaluations, selections, and deployments.
- Strong functional knowledge of contract management processes, including authoring, approvals, workflow, redlining, versioning, repository management, templates, clause libraries, and performance tracking.
- Broad familiarity with CLM platforms available in the current marketplace (e.g., enterprise-level, mid-market, and government-focused solutions).
- Experience working with public-sector or local government contract processes, regulations, purchasing requirements, and compliance considerations (strongly preferred).
- Ability to translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
- Experience developing procurement documentation and participating in structured vendor evaluations.
- Experience conducting stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process assessments, documenting current-state workflows and gap identification.
- Experience creating detailed functional, technical, integration, workflow, document management, security, and reporting requirements.
- Experience with vendor identification and drafting solution-based RFPs, including requirements and specifications, use cases, vendor instructions, evaluation criteria, scoring methodology, facilitating vendor demonstrations, evaluating responses for compliance, vendor reference checks.
