Are you a data-driven finance expert with a passion for healthcare? We’re seeking a Senior Healthcare Financial Analyst to play a key role in evaluating hospital operations, supporting data-driven decisions, and identifying cost-saving strategies.
This is a hybrid position, ideal for a local candidate who can come into the office once a week .
Direct hire – work onsite with a leading healthcare facility
Salary - $80,000.00-$90,000.00 dependent upon experience
Schedule - Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
What You'll Do:
The Senior Decision Support Analyst provides corporate financial and statistical analysis to assess the financial and operational impacts of management decisions and proposals.
- Perform advanced financial and operational analysis to assess the impact of strategic decisions
- Analyze healthcare data from various sources, including clinical and claims databases
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, program improvements, and operational efficiency
- Support strategic initiatives with proformas, cost accounting, and business case analysis
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reporting tools and systems
- Assist in system upgrades, data migration, and implementation of new analytical tools
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Admin, or related field – required
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare financial analysis (hospital data, claims, large datasets, etc.)
OR
10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree – required - Strong Excel and Access skills; experience with data extraction and analysis – required
Preferred Requirements:
- SQL and Tableau – strongly preferred
- Cost accounting and proforma experience – strongly preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and contract management systems
- Master’s in Business or Healthcare Administration – a plus
