We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Shipping Clerk to join our team. This critical role is responsible for the precise preparation of all outbound shipping documentation and the efficient coordination of freight logistics, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.

Shipping Clerk Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $19.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday )

**Shipping Clerk ****Schedule:** Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

**Key Responsibilities:***

Prepare and process comprehensive shipping documentation, including packing slips, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and commercial invoices.

* Obtain competitive freight quotes from various carriers to identify the most cost-effective and efficient shipping solutions.

* Arrange and schedule freight pickups with transportation providers, coordinating schedules and confirming details.

* Ensure all outbound shipments are accurately labeled and correctly correspond with their respective documentation.

* Maintain meticulous shipping records and assist with data entry as required for tracking and reporting.

* Communicate effectively with internal teams and external carriers regarding shipment status and any discrepancies.

**Required Qualifications:

*** Proven experience in a shipping, logistics coordination, or administrative role with a focus on outbound logistics.

* Proficiency in creating and managing shipping labels accurately.

* Solid understanding and practical experience with Bills of Lading (BOLs) and commercial invoicing processes.

* Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Shipping Clerk Qualifications:

Must have previous experience using BOL (Bill of Lading)

Must have experience in Shipping, Logistics, and administrative roles.

A 100% clear drug screen is must.
