The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs, production variances, and COGS to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts, performing variance analysis against actual results.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational and executive leadership.
• Conduct profitability analysis for products, production lines, and customer segments.
• Create financial models to evaluate capital expenditure projects, new product launches, and strategic investments.
• Support inventory valuation, reconcile inventory accounts, and analyze inventory turns and obsolescence.
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to improve financial processes and drive efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Experience with cost accounting principles and practices in a manufacturing environment
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with large datasets
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for data extraction and analysis
• Ability to interpret operational data and provide actionable financial insights

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS) for cost accounting and production analysis
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their financial implications
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to report on operational KPIs and variances
• Understanding of supply chain finance concepts and inventory management best practices
